About Joe Kehrig

As a high performance real estate coach with over 40 years of experience in the real estate business, I am dedicated to helping real estate professionals maximize their efforts to grow their business while keeping balance in all other areas of their life.

I’ve been there. Since 1978, I have professionally marketed and sold over one billion dollars’ worth in residential real estate. I’ve founded and built my own real estate company. I’ve trained over 1200 agents, helping them achieve and exceed their professional goals. I’ve become the number one real estate agent in the California East Bay.

I did this through hustle, grit, and working long hours – many times, the price paid was being away from my family.

But then I thought that there had to be a better way. A way to build my business AROUND my family rather than building my family around my business. I found a way to put my family first while still achieving my business goals. A way to make my hard work, work for me.

Real Estate Experience & Recognition:

  • 1978: Licensed at age 21 after earning a two-year Real Estate Degree.
  • 1982: Earned Broker’s license and founded Bayhill Properties at age 25.
  • 1999: Sold Bayhill Properties to Prudential – CA Realty.
  • Multiple award winner of the Prudential PREA Award (Top 100 Prudential Agents in United States)
  • Prudential 10-year Legend Award (Earned Prudential’s highest honors 10 straight years)
  • 2007: Began Real Estate Owned (REO) business. Within 2 years engaged with 17 different banks and asset management companies with over 100 active listings at any given time.
  • 2008: Started Managing Prudential Ca Realty Danville, CA office. Turned approximately $200,000 yearly loss to upwards of $200,000 profit within two years, an approximately $400,000 turn around.
  • 2010: Prudential Ca Realty became Better Homes and Gardens. With a small team which included Joe and his 3 sons earned the #1 Team ranking in the United States twice for Better Homes and Gardens.
  • 2011: Became head of training for Better Homes and Gardens/MMRE 30 offices and 1200 agents.
  • 2015: Joined Pacific Union International Real Estate. The #1 Independent Real Estate Company in Ca and #5 overall Real Estate Company in the United States. Since joining, The Kehrig Team has been the #1 Team in closed residential resale transactions, selling over 100 homes per year for over 100 million dollars in volume yearly.
